Stay another night so I can hold you
Veronica I need your touch
Do you mind being my crutch of the day?
It’s ok, you can use me to
Veronica could you love me?
Just say yes , throw me on the bed
Wrap your arms around my head
And squeeze tight so I might forget it all
Veronica, why is life so hard
Veronica, why is life so damn hard
Stay just one more hour
I’m not ready to face myself
I need your touch to heal my cuts
Though I’m not betting on feeling better anytime soon
Let’s sleep til noon
Veronica, why is life so hard
Veronica, why is life so damn hard?

Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
Released in 2001, “The Convincer” is a gentle gem in the Nick Lowe catalog; an anniversary edition provides opportunity for rediscovery. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 20, 2021
The Ohio songwriter navigates gender, queerness, class, and privilege through a powerful mix of country rock, folk ballads, and bluegrass. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 14, 2021
As I listen to this album more and more I start discover aspects that I hadn't felt before. My love for every individual track continues to grow, but Change has remained in my heart as a deep drive to get me through the day. seonghi
